  • Licensed Attorney, State of New York

  • In-House Counsel & Corporate Advisory

  • Manufacturing & Development Operations, 2020–

Alex Keogan brings a rare combination of legal acuity and real-world operating experience to every engagement. After earning his J.D. from Syracuse University College of Law in 2012, Alex spent several years practicing in-house counsel advising on contracts, corporate structure, risk, and transactions from the inside. That vantage point gave him something most advisors lack: a clear understanding of how businesses actually function, and what buyers will scrutinize when they look under the hood.

In 2020, Alex stepped fully into the operator's seat as CEO for manufacturing and development businesses with hands-on responsibility for performance, people, and strategy. That experience informs everything at Keogan & Co. from how engagements are structured to how businesses are positioned for sale. When Alex advises a seller, he brings the perspective of someone who has built, managed, and often worked through the same challenges his clients face.
